Introduction

A personnel certification body” is an organization that evaluates and certifies the competence of individuals to perform a specific task or job, ensuring they meet required standards and qualifications. Personnel certification provides assurance to employers and the public that individuals holding a specific certification have demonstrated the necessary competence for a particular role.

IAAB Roles

IAAB provides guidelines for Accreditation bodies for personal certifications include certifications for Management system, IT, professionals, healthcare, engineers and many other fields. IAAB ensures that the person certified by an accredited certification body meets the requirements of the certification scheme, through which a process of evaluation and periodic reassessment of the competence being certified is carried out.

IAAB GLA Recognition

Personnel Certification bodies can be recognized by IAAB GLA Recognition Program from the IAAB GLA signatories Accreditation bodies. Personnel Certification body make ensure that Accreditation bodies have scope for Accreditation scheme for personnel before apply the accreditation. Personnel Certification bodies have to comply with national or internation standards and with mandatory compliance for IAAB guideline for personnel certification body (GDCB) in order to be accredited from GLA Signatory Accreditation Bodies

Use of IAAB GLA Logo

IAAB GLA logo can be use by accreditation body which is GLA signatory and its accredited Certification body which is accredited for personal accreditation scheme. Certified Person can also use IAAB GLA Logo in their CV, Visiting Cards, online profile and for details read
